Reviewed 27 May 2011I had been to Cafe Fish a couple of years ago and was really impressed with the freshness of the seafood. Turns out I found other people I have met over the past few years have felt the same. I was not disappointed on my return 2 years later. Just A good as the first time. The seafood and shellfish really are as fresh as they can be. If there are none fresh available then they simply aren’t on the menu. You would have to pay significantly more outside of Scotland to be able to eat sea food of this quality. The service is always excellent, the girls are really helpful and knowledgable if you are unsure of how to tackle your unshelled delicacies. They clearly work very hard and it is usually very busy so you may have to wait a little and it is really best to book well ahead for evening meals. You cannot book for lunch. It has an eclectic ambience but is somehwere I have a real passion to tell you all about. There is a lovely sun terrace and although I had terrible weather on my visit ,I have been before when you can enjoy fabulous food and wine on the sun terrace overlooking the Tobermory sound in scenery to beat the Medeterranian hands down. If you are in the Isle of Mull do not miss Cafe Fish!

We had a great meal, with really lovely fresh fish! It was delicious. My advice is book ahead as it was busy and we were lucky to get a table on a Tuesday night.
“Lovely food served by lovely people”

We went on a busy Friday night and naturally the place was very full. Lovely atmosphere and a fine selection of food (not all fish I might add). They have two evening sittings I would recommend that you choose the latter as the place is in a lovely setting overlooking the harbour and you should just relax and let time…
