Yes we know, Slovenia !, Superb pinot from one of Slovenia's top estates. Fresh, lively, with subtle flashes of oak. The vineyards are 100 metres from some of Italy's finest vineyards. Try this you will not be disappointed.

Dry, crisp and focused with gentle gooseberry flavours, this is a very fine, crisp, slightly herbal sauvignon blanc. Elegance, finesse, complexity and subtlety, with a long smooth finish! Superb! Excellent with all fish/shellfish.

11.Chateau de Pamplonne, Cote de Provence Rosé, France 2005 £15.95
One of the truly great examples of the new wave of Rosé wines coming out of the south of France. A serious wine, blush pink in colour packed with ripe, rich, fleshy fruits balanced by crisp acidity and a long, long finish. Ask David Coultard the F1 driver, he uses it as his house rosé in his Hotel Columbus, Monte Carlo.
Red Wines
12.Riva Primitivo, IGT, Salento, Italy 2004 £10.90
Look out for more Primitivo, it is becoming an extremely popular red. This wine in particular has substantial depth of colour, is full-bodied, is abundant with fruit and has a clean fresh finish. Best with grilled meaty food.

13.Thorne Hill Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvgnon, Australia 2005 £11.90
Enormous spicy blackcurrant flavours, dripping with soft vanilla and dark, unctuous fruit. Serve with red meat, game or just enjoy a glass on its own.
14.Barbera, Finca la Colonia, Norton Estate, Argentina 2005 £11.90
Originally an Italian grape this Barbera is a bright, medium bodied New World red. Rich, intense waves of chunky Argentinian fruit with elegant, sweet tannins. Matches fuller flavoured fish like salmon or monkfish or steak.
15.Stimson Estate Merlot, Ch. St. Michelle, Washington State, USA 2003 £13.90
This lush, pleasurable Merlot would make a delicious accompaniment to grilled salmon or flavour full pasta.
16.Vitiano, Merlot/Cabernet/Sangiovese, Falesco, Umbria, Italy 2004 £16.90
Vitiano is the Rosso Umbria from Falesco, the family-owned estate of enologist Riccardo Cotarella.

17. Cabernet/Merlot, Buitenverwachting, S. Africa 2003 £16.50
60% Merlot, the balance Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Lovely minerally, slightly spicy nose, complex with a full bodied richness and fruitiness, this wine came out top of the class at our recent tasting.
